Marijuana Eradication Program

The toll free number is 1-800-524-7277 or 1-800-52GRASS. The information is immediately respond to the reporting party upon their request.

If you prefer, you can also help out by emailing this statewide information form with as much detail as possible to your district investigative representatives.

This program is ran in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Administration, United States Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management, as well as local law enforcement agencies.

Another particular concern to the Idaho State Police is the attempt to legalize marijuana for use for some alleged medical conditions or as an agricultural crop.

ISP has prepared an informational research and position paper [PDF] to more fully address these false and erroneous claims. Please review this paper, which deals with this issue point by point. Simply put, there is no legitimate reason to legalize the use of marijuana - None.
