On October 18, 2012, at approximately 12:42 p.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a single vehicle crash at the intersection of Olds Ferry Road and Ferrel Road, near Weiser.    Jerry Greenawald, 68 of Weiser was headed eastbound on Olds Ferry Road when his 1997 Landrover Discovery went off the left shoulder and crashed into an empty irrigation canal.   Greenawald was not wearing a seatbelt and is believed to have passed away prior to the crash due to natural causes.
