On November 4, 2012 at 8:20am the Idaho State Police investigated a one vehicle injury crash on I-15 south of Inkom. Jason D. Shelton, age 36, of Holladay Utah, was driving southbound on I-15 when he fell asleep and drove off the right shoulder of the road. The vehicle rolled and the two passengers were ejected. Shelton and his passengers were taken by ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center. The right lane was blocked for two hours.
