INCIDENT NARRATIVE:   On November 3, 2012, at approximately 12:00 A.M., Idaho State Police Detectives responded to the Nez Perce County Jail at the request of Sheriff Administration pursuant to an inmate death. Chad Vincent Gardner 19 of Kootenai County was found unconscious in his cell by Jail Staff. First Aid was administered followed by a response from Lewiston Fire EMS. An autopsy is scheduled for this morning in Spokane under the direction of Nez Perce County Coroner Gary Gilliam. Investigation is continuing.
