On Tuesday November 13, 2012, at approximately 5:20 a.m. the Idaho State Police investigated a one-vehicle crash on SH33 at milepost 59.3, near Sage Junction.  Jason Melchor, 30, of Terreton, was eastbound in a 1996 Chevrolet Suburban when he lost control of the vehicle on the snow and ice covered roadway.  The vehicle went off the roadway and overturned.  Melchor was transported by air ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.  Seatbelts were worn and road conditions contributed to the crash.
