ISP Training

We are dedicated to saving lives by bringing the latest technology, training, education, equipment and support to the men and women of the Idaho State Police.

Our primary focus is developing the Idaho State Police work force to confidently and competitively meet the challenges of tomorrow. The Idaho State Police Training Section ensures the delivery of professional, relevant, and cost-effective training to all department employees, and provides training to local law enforcement agencies to assist them in meeting mission demands.

General Training Information
Developing and providing advanced law enforcement training to those chosen to serve the public as Idaho State Police Troopers.

Advanced Training Class
Combines physical conditioning and human relations skills with training in a variety of law enforcement disciplines.

Career Path
For commissioned and non-commissioned employees of the ISP, numerous opportunities exist for service.
