Sergeant Scott Dye
Training Sergeant

Scott Dye joined the Idaho State Police in 1997 and was assigned to District 4 as a Burley resident officer through 2004. In April 2004, Trooper Dye was promoted to Patrol Sergeant in District 3 where he served until July 2011 when he transferred to the Training Section. Sergeant Dye was a member of the Idaho State Police SWAT team from 2000 - 2009.
Sergeant Dye is a certified instructor in Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC), Skid Car, Firearms (rifle, pistol and shotgun) and Active Shooter Response.
