South East Idaho 

Welcome to the “Gateway” to the Northwest. The men and women who serve with District 5 in Patrol, Investigations, Post and Forensic Services serve in one of the most scenic and beautiful areas of Idaho. These members of the Idaho State Police play a vital role in providing a variety of law enforcement services to approximately 173,514 people in cities and towns across southeastern Idaho.
They are also an important part of the communities where they live. Many of the members of ISP District Five grew up in and around the area, and because of their commitment to the people, they are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of the people in District 5. The ISP District 5 Headquarters office is located in Pocatello

ISP District 5 is located in the southeastern corner of Idaho and borders Wyoming on the East and Utah on the South.  

The District Headquarters office is located in Pocatello and includes Patrol, Investigations, and Post.  It also includes one of ISP’s three Forensic Services Laboratories.  

District Five has been called the “Gateway” to the Northwest and includes many scenic landmarks like Bear Lake, Lava Hot Springs, and the Caribou National Forest just to name a few. 

It’s also home to the Idaho State University Bengals and a variety of successful manufacturing, technology, and health care industries.  For more information about all that Pocatello and the surrounding areas have to offer
