2023 RSAT Solicitation for New Projects is now open
The solicitation for the 2023 Residential Substance Abuse Treatment (RSAT) Program for NEW three-year projects is now open. The application deadline is Friday January 5, 2024 at 5 p.m (MT).
Successful applicants will receive one year of funding and will be eligible for two years of continuation funds. If agencies wish to apply for RSAT funds at a later date, they can fill out an “RSAT Funding Interest Form” available on our website at https://isp.idaho.gov/pgr/rsat/.

The Residential Substance Abuse Treatment (RSAT) for State Prisoners Programs assists states, tribal, and local governments to develop and implement substance use disorder (SUD) treatment programs in state and local correctional and detention facilities and to create and maintain community-based aftercare services for offenders. RSAT funds may be used to implement or support three types of programs: residential, jail-based, and aftercare. To apply, applicants must be either a state agency, a unit of local government (city or county), or federally recognized Indian tribal governments that perform law enforcement functions. Applications to support programs in rural and tribal areas will be given priority consideration.
