Research Analyst

Meridian Idaho ISP Headquarters   



This is a part time 20 hour per week position with a flexible schedule Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The pay is $12.31 per hour with no benefits.

Duties include:

To perform basic qualitative and quantitative research and writing projects involving data collection, data preparation and preliminary analysis as well as perform related work.

Research development. Typical responsibilities: researches information and data; develops tools for collection of data; identifies erroneous or questionable data using established methods and procedures to assure quality of data collected; utilizes established sampling techniques and selects sample; identifies problems with reporting systems and recommends changes; makes recommendations for improving research procedures.

Data analysis and report development. Typical responsibilities: edits and compiles data manually or by computer program; reviews and corrects data ensuring output is consistent with study; drafts report of findings into format appropriate to various users; responds to requests for information on current and potential use of data and research system.

Candidates should have a good knowledge of research methods and principles of statistics.  Experience writing analytical (research) reports or materials; using statistical software or spreadsheet software to perform statistical analysis is also a plus.
