Changing the Website’s Theme
Themes are a great way to save a snapshot of what the website looks like at a particular time. For example during recruiting. During this time we need some changes to the website framework that won’t affect the actual data in the page but the page’s “surroundings” (namely adding a drop down link and an image to the “Quick Links” area). Often these changes are the type that have to be made by IT types but the nice thing about themes is that we can save those changes in the theme so they only have to be done once. They then can be “turned on” or “turned off” easily by anyone that can edit the site.
How to change the theme
- Click on the “Appearance” tool next to the little paintbrush and a listing of all the themes that we currently have will appear on the right. Scroll down and find the theme that is named “ISP Standard Theme – Recruiting”
- Move your cursor over the image and two buttons will appear. Click on the “Activate” button and the theme will be made active. That is it. It is that easy.

How to change it back
- Click on the “Appearance” tool. This time scroll down and find the “ISP Standard Theme“
- Hover over the image and click on the “Activate” button. All is back to normal.
