District One stretches from southern boundaries of the Coeur d’ Alene Indian Reservation to the Canadian border encompassing all the northern panhandle of the state. Notable landmarks in the district include Lake Coeur d’ Alene, Lake Pend Oreille, Priest Lake, the old Cataldo Mission, Wallace and the Silver Valley, formerly the Silver Capital of the United States.
