On Monday, April 15, 2013, at approximately 07:51 am, Idaho State Police investigated a property damage crash on Interstate 84 near milepost 35, in Nampa.

Joshua Hatt, 19, of Columbus, MT, was driving east on Interstate 84 in a white and blue 1985 Ford pickup. Hatt failed to yield to slowing traffic and rear ended Marnie Boyenger, 42, of Boise, ID, who was driving a red 2012 Fiat 500. Boyenger was pushed in to Fred Thurber, 70, of Herber City, UT, who was driving a red 1998 Dodge Ram pickup.

The left lane of travel was blocked for approximately one hour.

All occupants were wearing their seat belts.
