News Releases

Thank you for your interest in the Idaho State Police. The purpose of the Idaho State Police media relations and community outreach program is to convey important public safety information and matters concerning the agency’s programs and activities, and to effectively and immediately reach Idaho residents in our efforts to further the ISP mission; to serve and protect the lives, property, and constitutional rights of the people of Idaho.

By subscribing to the ISP News Release list(s), you will be assured of getting ISP public releases directly to your email address as they are issued. The email lists are organized by district. Releases are sent to the list(s) of the most relevant district(s), or in the case of regional or statewide interest, a release will be sent to several or all of the district lists. You may subscribe to one or any of the district lists.

When you first sign up, you will be sent a confirmation email. You will need to reply to this to complete your sign-up. If you don’t reply, you will not be added.

Anyone can sign up. These releases are meant for the public and available to anyone interested.

An archive feature allows you to search through old releases if you like. After selecting on the desired list name, you can search for particular releases by words likely to be in the release.

The Idaho State Police will not share your email, and you will not be added to any other lists nor receive any other information other than news releases from ISP. Others cannot see your email address in releases that are issued.
