3 vehicle crash near Twin Falls

On September 5, 2013 Idaho State Police Investigated a crash involving 3 vehicles, southbound US 93 near milepost 65 in Jerome County. A large utility truck in the northbound lane driven by Orion Lomax, 21 of Buhl, was turning left when a small Mazda passenger car in the southbound lane driven by Tania Mireles, 17 of Shoshone, struck the truck. Mireles was transported to St. Luke's Magic Valley Regional Medical Center by ground ambulance. Mireles's passenger, Jacob Parks was transported by Air Ambulance to St. Luke's Magic Valley Regional Medical Center. An 8 month old baby in the rear seat of Mireles's vehicle was not seriously injured.

Seatbelts were not being worn by those transported to the hospital
