3rd Update:

On July 2, 2020, at approximately 4:23 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a three-vehicle injury crash, westbound on I84 at milepost 169 in Jerome. Ronald Davidson, age 57, of Twin Falls, was travelling westbound in a Dodge pickup truck. Betty Wentworth, age 49, was also westbound in a Nissan pickup truck. Davidson and Wentworth were slowing for construction traffic. Edwin Rodriguez-Orozco, age 33, of Wheatland, CA was also westbound in a Volvo semi truck hauling a trailer, and failed to slow for traffic. Rodriguez-Orozco struck Davis, who then struck Wentworth.

Davis was transported by air ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls. Wentworth and her passenger, Deborah Reynolds, age 47, of Twin Falls, were transported by ground ambulance to St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center in Twin Falls. The left lane of eastbound traffic was briefly blocked for emergency vehicles. The westbound lanes were blocked for more than two hours. The crash remains under investigation with assistance from Jerome Police Department, Jerome County Sheriff's Office, Jerome Fire and Paramedics, Magic Valley Paramedics, and the Idaho Transportation Department.

At this time, the Idaho State Police is investigating a crash westbound on I 84 at milepost 169, one mile east of the east Jerome exit. All westbound traffic is blocked. More information will be relayed as it becomes available.
