Update:

Travel lanes are clear following a crash shortly after 7:30 PM this evening, July 14, 2014, which occurred northbound on I15 near milepost 72, just south of the Chubbuck Rd. underpass. Dean Ozburn, age 26 of Soda Springs was driving northbound near milepost 72 when he jumped out of his vehicle into the right lane of traffic. His vehicle continued off the road and went through the right of way fence. The right lane of northbound traffic was blocked for approximately 25 minutes while ambulance crews responded and treated Ozburn. He was then transported to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello for further treatment of his injuries. The crash is still under investigation by the Idaho State Police.

The Idaho State Police is currently investigating an incident on Northbound Interstate 15 near milepost 72, in the Chubbuck area. Traffic is reduced to one lane and motorists are encouraged to use caution in the area as there may be slow downs due to the incident. More information will be released when available.
