On Friday, June 13, 2014 at approximately 5:00 am, Idaho State Police investigated a one-vehicle, fatality crash on Interstate 84 near milepost 205.5, at the 850 West Road overpass in Minidoka County.
Harold Gow, 50, of Missoula, Montana, was driving west on Interstate 84 in a 2010 Kenworth semi-tractor pulling a trailer. Gow drifted off the road and into the median, striking the guard rail and then the overpass of 850 West Road. Gow succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the crash.
The westbound lanes of Interstate 84 are still blocked while crews work to clear the scene and analyze the damage to the overpass. A detour through Paul, ID is still in effect. It is anticipated the westbound lanes of the Interstate will remain blocked for approximately two to three hours. Motorists are encouraged to dial 511 for updated information on the closure. The crash remains under investigation.

Idaho State Police is currently investigating a fatality crash on Interstate 84 near milepost 205.5, at the 850 West Road overpass in Minidoka County.
The westbound lanes of traffic are blocked. Traffic is being detoured off of exit 208, through Paul, and back on the Interstate at interchange 201. Eastbound traffic is still open.
