Shortly before 10 AM this morning, April 19, 2014, the Idaho State Police investigated an injury crash in Nampa which blocked traffic on Karcher Rd near the intersection of Latah Dr. Tanner Sayer, age 17, of Nampa was driving north on Karcher Rd. He had looked down and did not notice traffic slowing for a red light. Sayer struck a vhicle driven by Susana Marquez-Delgado, age 39, of Caldwell. Marquez-Delgado's vehicle then struck another vehicle driven by Bruce Thompson, age 51, of Nampa. Thompson was transported by ground ambulance to St. Lukes Hospital in Nampa. All occupants were wearing their seat belts. Traffic was blocked for more than an hour while the vehicles were removed. The investigation is ongoing.
