On November 9, 2013, at approximately 5:45 p.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a two vehicle injury crash near the intersection of Shoshone Street South and Minidoka Avenue, in Twin Falls. Karli Kararic, 22, of Twin Falls, with 2 passengers, were exiting the Maverik Country Store in a 2011 Toyota Corolla turning east onto Shoshone Street S. Kararic failed to yield the right-of-way to Kimberly Farnes, 39, of Twin Falls who was traveling west on Shoshone Street South on a 1985 Kawasaki Motorcycle, and collided with Kararic.
Farnes was transported by ground ambulance to St. Lukes Magic Valley Medical Center in Twin Falls. Kararic and her passengers were not transported and it is unknown if they were wearing seat belts. Farnes was wearing a helmet. The crash is still under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
