**Update**
On Thursday September 19, 2013, at approximately 12:23 p.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a three vehicle fatal crash on State Highway 55 at milepost 5, the intersection of State Highway 55 and Williamson Road, north of Marsing. The driver of a 2010 Hyundai Elantra was traveling southbound on SH 55 while the driver of a 1998 Ford F250 was traveling northbound on SH 55. The Ford F250 collided with the Hyundai Elantra as it attempted to turn left onto Williamson Road, pushing it into a 2005 Honda Pilot stopped at the stop sign. The passenger of the Elantra succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash. One northbound lane of traffic was blocked for approximately two and a half hours. All occupants were wearing their seatbelts. No names are being released until notifications have been made.

All lanes of travel are now open.

At this time, the Idaho State Police is investigating an injury crash northbound on State Highway 55 at milepost 5, about two miles north of the Snake River. One lane of northbound traffic is currently blocked. More information will be relayed as it becomes available.
