On Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at approximately 6 p.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a one vehicle injury crash near Preston.

A 17 year old female from Preston, was driving northbound on South State Street, 4 miles north of the Utah border in a 2000 GMC Jimmy when she went off the road. The driver overcorrected and rolled. She was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. She was taken by air ambulance to the Portneuf Medical Center. This crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
