On October 8, 2012, at approximately 8:23 a.m., Idaho State Police investigated a two vehicle crash at the intersection of 2nd Avenue West and Shoshone Street in Twin Falls, ID. Jesse R. Kindred, 68, of Kimberly, ID. was driving north on Shoshone St. in a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado pickup. Joan L. Lang, 56, of Twin Falls, ID. was driving west on 2nd Ave. W in a Volkswagen Jetta. At the intersection, Kindred failed to stop at a red light and collided with Lang.

Kindred and Lang were both wearing seatbelts. Lang was transported by ground ambulance to St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center in Twin Falls, ID.
