Daniel Acuna-Cosio has passed away.

On Saturday March 10, 2012, at approximately 5:58 pm, the Idaho State Police investigated a one-vehicle injury crash in Jerome County. Daniel Acuna-Cosio was driving eastbound on 600 North in a 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser. He was near the intersection of 300 East and 600 North when, for unknown reasons, he lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle hit the guardrail of a bridge and rolled. Both lanes of travel were closed for approximately two hours. Mr. Acuna-Cosio was transported by air ambulance to St. Alphonsus in Boise. He was not wearing his seatbelt. It is unknown if alcohol was a factor in this crash. This crash is under investigation by Corporal Faller. Corporal Faller was assisted at the scene by the Jerome County Sheriffs Office, Jerome County EMS, and the Jerome County Fire Department.
