On December 17, 2011, at approximately 3:50 p.m., Idaho State Police, with assistance from the Bonneville County Sheriff's Office, investigated a fatal crash at 45th East and US Highway 26, Bonneville County, Idaho.
Jacqueline Hamilton, 50, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, was travelling north on 45th East in a blue 1989 Plymouth Voyager Van. Desiree Bramwell, 26, of Lewisville, Idaho, was travelling east on US Highway 26 in a silver 2003 Jeep Liberty. Hamilton failed to yield from the stop sign before crossing US Highway 26, striking Bramwell's vehicle and causing it to roll.
Bramwell was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. She was not wearing a seatbelt. Hamilton was not injured in the crash. She was wearing a seatbelt.
The crash investigation is continuing.
