Idaho State Police is investigating a vehicle collision which occurred on Thursday, December 7th, 2023, at approximately 8:00 AM, on Karcher Road just west of Ashland Drive, in Canyon County.

A 41-year-old female from Nampa, was traveling eastbound on Karcher Road in a 1997 Toyota Tacoma when the vehicle went off the right shoulder of the roadway and rolled into a field. The driver was not wearing a seat-belt. She was transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries

Traffic on Karcher Road was blocked for approximately 2 hours, allowing emergency responders to assist those involved and clear the scene.

This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
