Idaho State Police are investigating a two-vehicle collision that occurred at 9:16 AM on 02/19/2023 at SH 41 and Prairie Avenue in Post Falls.

The 19-year-old male driver of a Toyota Celica was travelling south on SH 41 at Prairie Avenue when it collided with a Lexus SUV that was traveling east on Prairie Avenue at SH 41. The Lexus was occupied by an 18-year-old male driver From Hayden, Idaho and 19-year-old female passenger from Post Falls, Idaho. The driver of the Toyota Celica who is from Athol, Idaho was not wearing a seatbelt and was transported to the hospital by ambulance.

Traffic on SH 41 at Prairie Avenue was blocked until 10:14 AM as emergency responders worked to investigate the collision and clear the roadway. This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
