Idaho State Police Investigates two vehicle collision in Twin Falls
The Idaho State Police are investigating a two-vehicle collision that occurred at approximately 4:15 P.M., on June 5, 2024, at the intersection of Pole Line Road East and Bridgeview Boulevard, in the City of Twin Falls, Idaho.
A white 2009 Honda ST1300 Motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Pole Line Road East when a blue 2016 Ford F-150 Pickup was traveling westbound on the same road, attempting to turn southbound onto Bridgeview Boulevard. While turning left, the Ford Pickup, driven by a 41-year-old female from Buhl, failed to yield the right of way and was struck by the Honda motorcycle, driven by a 29-year-old male from Shoshone.
The motorcyclist was transported via air ambulance to a local hospital in Pocatello.
The rider of the motorcycle was wearing a full-face helmet and the driver of the Ford Pickup was wearing her shoulder and lap seat belt at the time of the crash.
Traffic was blocked for about three hours on Pole Line Road East and Bridgeview Blvd, in both directions, for emergency responders to assist those involved.
The Idaho State Police were assisted by the Twin Falls Police Department, Twin Falls Fire Department, and Magic Valley Paramedics.
This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
