Vote for Idaho State Police in the 11th Annual AAST “Best Looking Cruiser” Contest!

MERIDIAN, Idaho – The Idaho State Police (ISP) proudly announces our newest 2024 patrol vehicle, the Ford Mustang GT. We acquired Mustangs to enhance our fleet with high-performance, reliable, and efficient cars that meet the rigorous demands of law enforcement. The Mustang’s powerful engine and advanced handling capabilities, unique to this model, enable troopers to respond to emergencies swiftly and effectively, providing enhanced protection to the community. Additionally, the Mustang’s modern safety features and robust build contribute to the safety of troopers and the public. These vehicles symbolize our commitment to maintaining excellence in public safety and law enforcement.

We are proud to have nominated our new Mustang for the American Association of State Troopers (AAST) America’s Best-Looking Cruiser Contest and are asking our community, supporters, and all Idahoans to cast their votes and help us secure the title of America’s Best-Looking Cruiser for 2025!

The AAST contest is an annual event that allows the public to choose their favorite state police or highway patrol vehicle from across the nation. This year, the Idaho State Police cruiser is in the running, and we need your help to win.

3- Select Idaho from the list of states & submit your vote.

Voting is open through midnight on July 29, so don’t wait! Every vote counts, and we are competing against highly populated states. Your support is crucial to our success.

Winners

The winner will be presented with the “Best Looking Cruiser Award” and featured on the cover of the AAST’s “America’s Best Looking Trooper Cruisers 2025 Wall Calendar.”  The calendars will be available for purchase at www.statetroopers.org beginning October 1, 2024, and sales will provide educational scholarships to dependents of member troopers.
