Injury Crash US95 at Milepost 360.5, Viola, ID

Viola, Idaho- Idaho State Police is investigating a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of US Highway 95 and State Highway 66.

On July 30, 2024, at 0923 am, Idaho State Police (ISP) Troopers responded to a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of US Highway 95 and State Highway 66. An 80-year-old male from Farmington Washington was driving northbound on US Highway 95 in a 2017 Acura MDX. A 30-year-old male driver from Moscow Idaho was traveling southbound on US Highway 95 on a 2008 Kawasaki Motorcycle. The Acura turned in front of the Kawasaki. The Kawasaki struck the front of the Acura causing the male rider to separate from the Kawasaki. The rider then struck the front of a 2022 Chrysler that was stopped on State Highway 66. The Chrysler was driven by a 37-year-old female from Greenacres Washington. The Motorcycle rider was transported to a local hospital by air ambulance.

Idaho State Police were assisted by the Latah County Sheriff’s Office, Moscow Fire Department, and the Idaho Transportation Department.
