TWIN FALLS, Idaho – Crash Blocked Traffic East of Twin Falls on SH50

Idaho State Police (ISP) is investigating a crash that occurred on Monday, August 19th at 05:58 A.M., on SH50 at milepost 4.5, just east of the Hansen Bridge.

A 55-year-old male from Kimberly, Idaho was driving EB on SH50 in a 2015 Freightliner hauling a trailer loaded with lumber. A vehicle travelling northbound on N 3800 E failed to yield at the intersection, and the semi driver braked to avoid a collision. The load of lumber shifted and partially came loose, blocking both lanes of travel for approximately 6 hours.

The lanes have been reopened.

Idaho State Police was assisted by the Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office and the Idaho Transportation Department.
