Nampa, Idaho – Two vehicle injury crash in Nampa
Idaho State Police is investigating a two-vehicle injury crash that occurred on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at 12:59 p.m., 15324 Riverside Rd, in Canyon County, Idaho.
A 65-year-old male, of Nampa, was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado pickup northbound on Riverside Rd. The Silverado drifted onto the right shoulder, overcorrected, and came back into the lanes of travel impacting the side of the Peterbuilt.
A 53-year-old male, of Payette, was driving a 2009 Peterbuilt sanitation truck southbound on Riverside Rd.
Both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. The driver of the Silverado was transported by air ambulance to a local hospital.
The road was completely blocked for approximately two and a half hours.
The incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
