With all the outdoor events that come with the Hot August Nights weekend, Idaho State Police, Nez Perce County Sheriff"s Office, and Lewiston Police Department had their hands full! Idaho State Police alone arrested 14 drivers for Driving Under the Influence (DUI), arrested 2 drivers for Injury to a Child, and cited 2 minors for Minor in Consumption of alcohol (MIC). Thank you to those who were responsible and got a ride home, was a designated driver, or walked to your destinations. We also appreciate the support from our partner agencies as we strive to enhance public safety. Let"s continue to work together to #KeepFamiliesWhole and #DriveWellIdaho.
