On July 15th, 2021 the Idaho State Police investigated an injury crash in the area of Chase Road and Grange Avenue in Post Falls. Jamie Peters, 41 years old of Hayden, ID, was travelling northbound on Chase Road near Grange Avenue on a black 2015 Harley Davidson Motorcycle when he went off the roadway and impacted a railroad track. His bike then overturned and Peters was ejected from the motorcycle. Peters was not wearing a helmet. Alcohol is being investigated as a factor. Peters was transported to Kootenai Health. The investigation is ongoing.
