Two Vehicle Fatality Crash near Greenleaf

CANYON COUNTY, Idaho – Idaho State Police is investigating a two-vehicle crash that occurred at 7:43 A.M., on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, on State Highway 19 at Notus Road in Greenleaf. A 2008 Ford F150, driven by an 86-year-old male from Caldwell, was travelling southbound on Notus Road. A 2024 Freightliner Semi, driven by a 45-year-old male from Boise, was travelling westbound on State Highway 19. The Ford F150 failed to yield to right of way traffic and was struck by the semi-truck.

The driver of the Ford F150 succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the crash. Next of kin has been notified. The driver of the semi-truck was transported at a later time to a local hospital.

 The intersection of State Highway 19 at Notus Road was blocked for approximately 3 hours.

 This crash remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
