Fatal Crash Highway 95 South of Moscow

LATAH COUNTY, ID
The Idaho State Police is investigating a single vehicle fatality crash that occurred at 4:15 P.M. on March 3, 2025 on Highway 95 near milepost 343, south of Moscow.

A light green Honda CR-V, driven by a 98-year-old male from Moscow, ID, was traveling northbound on Highway 95 near milepost 343. The vehicle then drove off the right side of the highway and into the ditch before crashing into a telephone pole and coming to a stop.

The driver was the only occupant and was wearing a seatbelt. The driver sustained severe injuries during the crash and succumbed to his injuries on scene. Next of kin has been notified.

The highway was completely shut down for 30 minutes before a single lane was reopened to allow alternating directions of traffic to pass. After another 30 minutes, both lanes of travel were fully reopened.

Moscow Police Department, Moscow Fire & EMS, Latah County Sheriff’s Office, and Idaho Transportation Department assisted with the incident.
