Two-Vehicle Fatality Crash in Wendell

GOODING COUNTY – Idaho State Police is investigating a two-vehicle fatality crash that occurred on Thursday June 26, 2025, at approximately 5:38 pm at the intersection of Main St and Idaho St, in Wendell, ID.

A 21-year-old male from Twin Falls was driving northbound on Idaho St in a 1998 Kenworth Semi pulling a trailer.  A 68-year-old male from Wendell was riding northbound on a Copper 2008 Harley-Davidson motorcycle.  Both vehicles attempted to turn right onto Main St.  The motorcycle collided with the passenger side of the semi.  The driver of the semi was wearing a seatbelt.  The rider of the motorcycle was wearing a helmet. 

The motorcycle rider succumbed to their injuries at the scene of the crash.

Main St was complete blocked for approximately 3 hours as crews worked to assist those involved in the crash.
