Single Vehicle Crash South of Ucon

BONNEVILLE COUNTY, Idaho – Idaho State Police is investigating a single vehicle crash that occurred at 4:35 pm, on July 11th, 2025, on eastbound US20 at mile post 314 south of Ucon.

A 31-year-old male from Idaho Falls was traveling eastbound on US20 in a 2006 Dodge Durango hauling a 1995 Kit Manufacturing Company Trailer. The trailer began to fishtail causing the male to lose control of his vehicle. The Durango rolled and the trailer came unhitched flipping onto its side. The Durango came to a rest in the westbound lanes while the trailer came to a rest in the eastbound lanes.

All occupants of the Durango were wearing seatbelts and transported via ground ambulance to a local hospital.

Idaho State Police was assisted by Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office, Bonneville County Fire, and Bonneville County Paramedics.

The westbound lanes were blocked for approximately two hours to allow emergency responders to assist those involved.

This crash is still under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
