Single Vehicle Fatal Crash in Coeur d’Alene

COEUR D’ALENE, ID

Idaho State Police Investigating single vehicle fatal crash which occurred on July 22,2025 at approximately 7:15 PM on Atlas road at Arrowhead road, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. 

Preliminary investigation indicates a 2004 Chevy Monte Carlo, occupied by an 80 year old female of Coeur d’Alene, was traveling northbound on Atlas Road. The driver failed to maintain her lane, the vehicle crossed the south bound lanes of Atlas, then crashed and came to rest off the roadway.

The female was the single occupant of the vehicle. She was transported via ground ambulance to a local hospital before succumbing to her injuries. This crash is still under investigation. 

Assisting agencies included Coeur d’Alene Police Department, Coeur d’Alene Fire Department, and Kootenai County Fire & Rescue.
