Injury Crash State Highway 41 near Twin Lakes, Idaho

Idaho State Police are investigating a vehicle collision that occurred on August 30th at 8:48 AM on SH 41 and W. Village Blvd, Kootenai County.

The driver of a Harley Davidson Motorcycle was traveling southbound on SH 41 when it collided with a Ford Super Duty Pickup as it made a left turn from W. Village Blvd onto SH 41. The rider of the Harley was a 35-year-old-male from Newport, WA. The rider was wearing a helmet; however, sustained serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital via Life Flight. The Ford was driven by a 46-year-old male, from Coeur D’Alene, and had three passengers. No occupants in the Ford sustained injuries.

Traffic on SH 41 was blocked in both directions for approximately three hours to allow emergency responders to assist those involved and clear the scene.

This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
