* Update *

On Friday, June 6, 2020, at approximately 1:30 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a single vehicle fatal crash on I-84 near milepost seven, south of Fruitland.

Nikolai Ignatich, 21, of Nampa, was driving eastbound on I-84 in a 1975 Dodge Ram. The right rear tire of the vehicle blew, and the pickup went into the median where it rolled.

Ignatich and his passenger Lila Daniel, 60, of Nampa, were both ejected from the vehicle and succumbed to their injuries on scene.

Neither subject was wearing a seat belt. Next of kin has been notified.

This crash is still under investigation by Idaho State Police.
