On Friday, May 15, 2020, at approximately 7:20 a.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle, injury crash, on I-84 near Nampa.
Sandra Fernandez, 33, of Nampa, was driving westbound on I-84 at milepost 34 in a 2015 Mazda MZ6. Stacy Jensen, 52, of Boise, was also westbound, driving a 1991 Kenworth semi with a trailer. The Mazda blew a tire, hit the jersey barrier, and sideswiped the semi.
Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts. Fernandez was transported via ground ambulance to St. Lukes Nampa Medical Center. Jensen was not transported.
The right lane was blocked for approximately 45 minutes while crews worked to clear the scene.
The crash is under investigation by Idaho State Police.
