Vehicle vs. Pedestrian Crash, Orofino, ID

On November 4^th, 2025, at 6:04 pm the Idaho State Police responded to a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash. The 71-year-old driver of a gray Nissan Murano was traveling westbound on Michigan Ave in Orofino when it struck a female pedestrian, 73-years-old of Orofino as she was crossing the roadway.  The pedestrian was transported to a local area hospital by ground ambulance. The driver of the vehicle was fully cooperative with law enforcement. The crash remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.

The Idaho State Police would like to remind the motoring public to always be vigilant of pedestrians as daylight hours are short and winter driving conditions are approaching.
