Fatality Crash West of Notus
NOTUS, Idaho – Idaho State Police is investigating a two-vehicle fatality crash that occurred on November 7, 2025, at approximately 6:19 p.m., on US20-26 and Purple Sage Rd, just west of Notus.
A blue 2013 Cadillac SRX, driven by a 77-year-old female from Parma, was driving westbound on US20-26. A white Chevrolet Silverado, driven by a 67-year-old male from Caldwell, was driving eastbound on US20-26. The driver of the Cadillac departed from her lane into oncoming traffic which resulted in a head on collision.
The driver of the Cadillac succumbed to her injuries on scene. The driver of the Chevrolet was transported via ground ambulance to a local hospital.
All lanes were blocked for approximately 3 hours.
The Idaho State Police was assisted by the Canyon County Sheriff’s Office.
This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
