Rollover Crash causes Interstate to shut down for several hours

INKOM, Idaho – Idaho State Police is investigating a two-vehicle crash that occurred at 6:11 pm on January 10th, 2026, Milepost 59 I15 south bound in Bannock County.

An 84-year-old Male out of Helena, Montana, was driving south bound in a Ford F-150 pulling a travel trailer.  A 29-year-old Female out of Grace, Idaho driving a Jeep Cherokee rear ended the travel trailer, causing the vehicle to roll over into the median.  The female driver was not wearing a seat belt, and the male driver was wearing a seat belt.

Both Drivers were transported via ground ambulance to a local hospital.

The Interstate was closed for 5 hours while Idaho State Police investigated the crash.

Idaho State Police were assisted by Bannock County Search and Rescue and Bannock County Sheriffs.
