Single Vehicle Fatality in Filer, Idaho
TWIN FALLS COUNTY, Idaho – The Idaho State Police is currently investigating a single-vehicle crash that occurred on February 28th, 2026, at approximately 12:44 A.M., northbound on 2300 E near 3500 N in Filer, Idaho.
A 2003 Chevrolet Suburban, driven by a 49-year-old male from Twin Falls, was travelling northbound on 2300 E, the vehicle crossed over the center line driving off the left shoulder. The vehicle rolled several times before coming to a final stop in a field just west of the roadway.
The driver succumbed to his injuries on scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
Idaho State Police was assisted by Twin Falls Sherrif’s Office and Twin Falls Fire and Rescue.
This incident is still under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
