Single Vehicle Fatal Crash in Malad

ONEIDA COUNTY, Idaho – Idaho State Police is investigating a single vehicle fatal crash that occurred on May 2nd, 2026, at 11:55 PM, at the corner of 2100 W 1000 N in Malad City.

A 41-year-old female from Malad City was driving a 2017 Polaris RZR when the vehicle left the roadway and collided with a tree.

The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and succumbed to her injuries on scene.

Idaho State Police was assisted by Oneida County Sherrif’s Department and Oneida County EMS

This crash remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police
