Injury Crash State Highway 45 at Mile Marker 10.4 in Owyhee County
OWYHEE COUNTY, Idaho- The Idaho State Police are investigating a two-vehicle collision that occurred at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Sunday May 24, 2026, at mile marker 10.4 on State Highway 45.
A Toyota Tacoma was traveling southbound on State Highway 45 and collided head on with a GMC Terrain traveling northbound.
The Tacoma was driven by a 22-year-old male from Melba and was transported to the hospital via ground ambulance. The passenger of the Tacoma was a 45-year-old male from Melba and was transported to the hospital via air ambulance. The Terrain was driven by a 35-year-old male from Meridan and was transported to the hospital via ground ambulance.
All occupants were wearing seatbelts.
Both northbound and southbound lanes were blocked for approximately two hours as emergency responders worked to clear the scene.
The incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
