Two Vehicle Injury Crash near American Falls
AMERICAN FALLS, Idaho – Idaho State Police is investigating a two-vehicle injury crash that occurred at approximately 4:32 a.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2026, on State Highway 39 near milepost 7, near American Falls.
A 2014 Buick Verano, driven by a 53-year-old female from Boise, was traveling northbound on State Highway 39.
A 2017 Ford F150, driven by an 18-year-old male from Aberdeen, was traveling southbound on State Highway 39. The Buick swerved into the southbound lane and side swiped the Ford.
The Buick had two passengers, a 32-year-old female and a 12-year-old both from Boise. The passengers were transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital. The driver was transported by air ambulance to a local hospital.
The Ford had one passenger, an 18-year-old male from Aberdeen both were not transported.
All occupants were wearing seatbelts.
The lanes are currently blocked while crews work to clear the scene.
