Idaho State Police responded to a non-injury crash on 11/4/2019 on US12 at mile post 45.9. At approximately 6:30am, a Miko LLC logging truck, out of Lewiston, ID, driven by Alexander R. Province, 19, of Orofino, ID, was traveling west bound on US 12 where he was negotiating a 45 mile per hour curve. Just after the curve Province’s bunk detached, causing him to lose his load after it shifted which blocked both lanes of travel. At 7:30am, one lane of travel was opened, and at 8:30am the highway was completely reopened. Province was wearing his seatbelt. Once reloaded, the log truck was driven away from the scene.
